Pre-algebra : Unit of Study: Lesson 10: Qualitative Graph

Students will learn how to analyze a qualitative graph and describe it verbally and in writing.(Group work/ Independent skill).

Formative Assessments:   daily 

ELA: Unit of Study: Argumentative Writing

Students will close read an argumentative article , examine elements of an argument, and apply CER .

Teacher will model how to write a well-developed argumentative writing essay using an outline.

U.S. History / Unit of Study:  The United States Constitution

Students will read and analyze informational texts related to U.S. Constitution and three branches of government. They will complete foldables.

Student will learn new academic vocabulary. They will complete thinking maps and orally present it as a group.

Study Skills : Lesson Focus: Finding Main ideas

Students will work in reading groups to identify main ideas and cite evidence.

Physical Science : Unit of Study: History of Earth/ Geologic Time Scale

They will read informational articles, learn new academic vocabulary, and write facts about Eras of geologic time scale. They will create a timeline about Earth’s history.
