Pre-algebra : Unit of Study: Lesson 7: Function/ Linear Function

Students will learn how to identify rate of change and compare function.(Group work/ Independent skill).

ELA: Unit of Study: Narrative text/ features- continue

Students will close read Poe’s ” The Tell- Tale Heart” and examine Plot Elements. They will apply Close & Critical Reading framework (4 squares)

Summative: 10/ 30

U.S. History / Unit of Study:  Declaration of independence

Students will read and analyze the declaration of independence. They will paraphrase each section using their own words.

Student will learn new academic vocabulary. They will complete thinking maps and orally present it as a group.

Study Skills : Lesson Focus:  Function/ Math Menu/ CER

Physical Science : Unit of Study: Ecosystem

They will read informational articles, learn new academic vocabulary, and write a structured paragraph about Ecosystem and populations
