Students will solve system of equations by graphing . Students will practice skill in groups solving word problems.

English Language Arts

Unit of Study: Informational Text features

Mini lessons: Informational text features/ structure

Students will read and analyze an informational book  about  Shaping of U.S. Constitution  and apply reading comprehension strategies .

They will cite textual evidence to support claim.

U.S. History

Lesson focus: U. S. Constitution-continue

Students will read informational texts/ Talk- to Text about  U. S. Constitution   & American government .

They will orally present it.

Students will learn new academic vocabulary related to U. S. Constitution.

Physical Science

Unit of Study: The Solar System

They will read and analyze informational texts about planets. Formative assessments:  Complete vocabulary foldable/ Oral presentation of informational articles.
