Students will analyze informational texts and identify main ideas and cite textual evidence to support claim.

_ Review Figurative Language.

Intervention Class: – Cause and Effect text structure 

_Write a cause and effect essay.

Physical Science

Unit of Study: Light and Energy waves

Students will learn about Electromagnetic spectrum.

They will read an informational book and create a lap book report and will orally present it.

U.S. History

Unit of Study:  U.S Constitution and Three branches of Government

Students will read and analyze informational texts about constitution goals and learn about roles of each branch of government.

Essential Questions: How a law is born? How citizens choose their leaders?
