We do not need volunteers for Daily 5 on Thursday.  We will  be having our January reward party and Leader In Me lesson during that time.

Hat Day (Monday-Friday)

All week students may pay 1.00 a day for our Flint Water Fundraiser

Book Fair

Students will visit the Scholastic Book Fair today and bring home their “wish list” for purchases the rest of the week

Leader In Me T-Shirts

We plan on wearing these t-shirts for our leadership day in June.  T-Shirts are 12.00.  Please let me know if you need another order form.  Orders are due February 18th.

Valentine’s Day Party

We are asking for a 5.00 donation (extra monies will be put toward an ice cream party on the last day of school)

PBIS Reward Party on Thursday

Students earning the reward party will be making “Valentines for Vets” and enjoy a snack.

Our Alpha Friends were Jumping Jill and Larry Lion, Letter J and Letter L

We worked in our journals

We worked in our poem books

We rotated through Daily 5

In Math we counted by 5’s and practiced cutting out geometric shapes

In Handwriting we worked with the letter H

We continue to work on our last name

We attended a “Jump Rope for Heart” assembly

We had some outdoor recess!!!

In Math we played number BINGO, learned to count by 5’s and continued work with “ordering numbers”

We rotated through Daily 5

We worked in our poem books

We continue to learn nursery rhymes and winter finger poems

The students were assessed for the end of the marking period

We worked on more “straight line” letters in our Handwriting Without Tears workbooks

We went to an assembly where we got to listen to singers share songs from different countries (The Singers of United Lands, you can search for their website)
