What We Did This Week

Our AlphaFriend this week was “Keely Kangaroo”, letter Kk

We rotated through Daily 5 and stamped lower case letters at Word Work

We got started in our new journals and are very focused on “stretching” our sounds using our alphabet chart

We have begun posting words on our “Word Wall” – we will begin with the words “I” and” like” and continue to study them next week (with it being a short week)

We have been working on empathy in our Social Skills group with Mr. Iversile.  We are paying attention to our friends faces and feelings as we work and play together.

We will begin a unit on “Sink and Float” in Science

In math we are focused on the “tricky teens” and identifying and writing them.  We continue to count by 10’s, 5’s and 1’s
