Field Trip

Lindbergh’s Holiday Boutique

Lindbergh’s largest fundraiser is the Holiday Boutique that happens in November.  At the event there is a basket raffle.  Each classroom is to assemble a themed basket.  Our class chose to create a basket based on Detroit Sports Teams.

We will be asking for monetary or merchandise donations for our basket soon.

It helps to have a “big ticket” item donation (for example, one parent has offered to donate Tiger Tickets!).  Please let me know if you can help or have any “special connections” in regards to the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Red Wings or Pistons (it doesn’t have to be tickets – maybe you have another “big” item you would be willing to donate).  We are trying to decide wither to focus on one team- or all of the teams!

The best part is that all of the money that is raised from the basket raffle is given to the teachers to spend on their classroom!

Lunch vs. Snack

Weekend Homework!

Dear Families,

Next week we will begin full days.  Dismissal will be at 3:35 p.m.  The students will be eating lunch here at school for the first time.  Please practice this weekend identifying with your student which food is your “SNACK” and which food is you “LUNCH”.

Lunch will be at 12:00

  • Feel free to label snack vs. lunch
  • Please use different containers for each
  • If your child is buying lunch please discuss the menu options at home so they know what to order when they get to school.

Thank you for your help!
