Leader In Me – Family Goal Pennant

There is still time to complete your Family Goal “Pennant” for our Leader In Me program.  Please see below:

Dear Parents,

We are preparing for our Lindbergh School Leadership Day.  We are asking that each family choose a family goal to accomplish and to tie it into one of the 7 habits.  Please create a family pennant with words and pictures describing your goal and how it connects to one of the 7 Habits.

We are providing the pennant paper for your family.  Please make sure that your pennant is cut on the lines and decorated on both sides. The pennant needs to be decorated vertically.  Please see picture below.  For example: you can do your family goal on one side and the habit it connects to on the other.  Or you can do your goal and habit it connects to on one side and a picture to go with them on the other side.  Please make sure that your child’s last name is large enough to read and see on the pennant when hung.

Each Lindbergh family is being asked to create one pennant per Lindbergh student in the family.  If you have more than 1 Lindbergh student in your family, the family may focus on one goal and habit, or the family can use a different goal and habit on each child’s pennant to display.  For example, if you have 3 children at Lindbergh that means 3 pennants will be turned in.

Completed pennants are due Friday, February 17th.  This is your chance to show the creativity of your family.  Please don’t hesitate to use different kinds of materials, glitter, colorful markers, stickers, family photos, and more.

Here is a list of Habits for you to choose from

  1. Be Proactive
  2. Begin with the End in Mind
  3. Put First Things First
  4. Think Win-Win
  5. Seek First to Understand then to Be Understood
  6. Synergize
  7. Sharpen the Saw

Thank you,

The Teacher Lighthouse Committee

IF YOU NEED ANOTHER PENNANT PAPER TO DESIGN PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
