Leader in Me T-shirt Orders

March 13, 2017

Dear Families of Lindbergh Elementary,

As you know, Lindbergh has adopted FranklinCovey’s The Leader in Me initiative.  This empowering program allows students to become leaders and teaches 21st century life skills to help them grow into productive, responsible, and effective young people of the community.

In addition to the many activities and lessons we participate in at school, each school who takes part in The Leader in Me is asked to host a Leadership Day.  Although parents are not invited to attend the Leadership Day we will be presenting highlights from Leadership Day at the June 6th PTA meeting and encourage all parents to attend this PTA meeting.

“Leadership Day events are held by those elementary schools going through The Leader in Me process.  These schools open their doors to the community for one day or one-half day and let others see the amazing transformation that takes place within their building for staff and students alike.  Students showcase their leadership skills, staff share their successes, and the leadership philosophy driving the culture of the school is tangibly seen and felt.”   (https://www.theleaderinme.org/events/leadership-days)

Lindbergh’s Leadership Day will be held June 2, 2017 and we are asking all students to purchase an incredible t-shirt for the event.  To order your child’s t-shirt please go to the provided link and follow the instructions.  Your t-shirt will ship directly to your home and your child will have it for our leadership events.

  • The link for ordering is: https://www.customink.com/g/wmy0-00ax-nj4z

  • The deadline for ordering your child’s t-shirt is MARCH 22, 2017

  • Please do not delay ordering your child’s t-shirt, we would like all students to participate.

As always, thank you for everything you do to support your child’s success at Lindbergh. These amazing opportunities would not be possible without your help.

Educationally yours,

The Lindbergh Staff
