What We Did This Week
We have introduced all of our Alpha Friends and continue to review letters and sounds
We will now start to focus on small simple sight words that students will need to know to begin reading
Our new sight word this week was: on
We worked in our poem books with the word the (and our previous words)
We worked hard finishing our Mother’s Day stories
We wrote in our journals
We enjoyed read alouds
We continue to practice “the teens” in Math and counting by 10’s and 5’s and counting backwards from 20
Our Muffins for Mom event went great! Thank you for attending!
