Apple Orchard Field Trip Monday!
Students will ride the bus and parents will drive separate.
Please dress the children for the weather, as we will be walking into the orchard to pick apples and pumpkins, even if it is raining. Pack your child’s lunch in a paper or plastic bag, stapled or tied closed, with your child’s name. Please do not send any lunch boxes, cold packs, or glass. We will not be bringing lunch boxes back since we will be carrying apples and pumpkins home instead. Remember they will get cider and a donuts so their lunch does not need extra snacks or sweets. Have your child wear a Lindbergh shirt or red shirt if possible.
If you have volunteered to chaperone, and your background check has cleared, please meet us at Lindbergh at 9:25. Check in at the office and come down and wait outside our classroom. I would like to check that you are still attending and I will hand you a list of students in your group. You will then meet us at the orchard, as the children will travel with us on the bus and return with us on the bus. We will all go into the barn at the white fence together for the lesson and then go to the hayride, where we will pick our apples and pumpkins. We will meet in the store to eat our lunch, have cider and donuts, and then move outside to see the animals and get some exercise. We will need to return to the front of the mill by 1:15 to get a picture and then we will board the bus. Please make sure you have taken your group to the bathroom before we get on the bus. The bathrooms are located outside between the barn and the store.

Lindbergh Holiday Boutique Basket Raffle
The Lindbergh Holiday Boutique is held in November. At the boutique there is a classroom basket raffle. The money raised by this raffle goes directly to the teachers to use in the classroom.
Before picking a random “theme” for our basket and asking for donations I thought I would reach out to see if any of our families had any business connections or resources for a large donation.
For example, last year one of my classroom parents worked at a hotel downtown and we were able to get a 1 night free stay and dinner – so we designed a basket theme around that.
Please email me if you can help!
Thanks in advance!
