Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a productive and positive school year.  Thank you also for the generous gifts as we celebrated the end of the school year.  I am overwhelmed by the generosity of everybody.  Lindbergh families are what make Lindbergh so great!

 Each student needs to bring or wear the following:

• Athletic wear in the assigned class color if possible

Y5 – K = Yellow

1^st = Blue

2^nd = Red

3^rd = Yellow

4^th = Blue

5^th = Red

• Hat, if desired
• Athletic Shoes (no sandals/boots)
• Water bottle (labeled)
• Snack (labeled)
• Sun Screen applied before school. However, parents/guardians may come up to the school to reapply before your students designated time.

We still need parents to volunteer for stations and to bring watermelon! Those volunteering will receive a lunch sponsored by the PTA.

The PTA will be serving cheese pizza, watermelon, and pretzels for lunch for the students; however, students are welcome to bring your own lunch instead. Students with lactose allergies should bring their medicine.

A white envelope and attached note came home last week.  The room parents are asking for those to be returned to school as soon as possible.

Don’t forget to keep up with summer reading using your Razz Kids subscription.  The subscription lasts until fall.  Reading levels have been updated for all students.

Our last day of school will be Friday, June 14th.  Dismissal is at 11:45 a.m.

We will be having a Popsicle and watching our end of the year slideshow beginning at 11:15 a.m.  Parents are welcome!  I will be sharing the link for the slide show on the blog if you are unable to make it.

Materials, report cards and end of the year assessment information will be sent home this week including locker clean-out!

Field Day is Tuesday, June 11th

We are eating lunch at our normal time and will participate with games in the afternoon session about 12:30-3.  Please make sure kids are wearing play clothes, have on close-toed gym shoes, are wearing sun screen or a hat and have a water bottle with their name on it.  We will take them outside with us.  The PTA will be serving lunch of cheese pizza, pretzels, and watermelon.  If your child does not like this or can not eat it due to allergies, please pack them a lunch that day.  The PTA needs help.  If you are able to be here, please sign up below:

Kindergarten students are being asked to wear yellow if possible.

I apologize parents, our assembly is tomorrow (NOT FRIDAY).

We need a small flashlight tomorrow.

We are still in need of cakes and baked goods donations for the Fun Fair Cake Walk. All donations can be turned in Thursday and Friday!

Fun Fair is this Friday evening.

We had a great time on our Pond Field Trip!  The students did a great job finding and observing the “living things” living there.

Thank you chaperones for giving your time and energy!  Thank you Mrs. Dewey for the afternoon popsicles!

We also made our “plant soup” as we brought our study of plants to a close.

• Just a reminder that we will be celebrating Donuts for Dad this Friday (June 7th at 9:00 a.m.).
• Donuts for Dad donations can be sent in to school with your student or dropped in the office Friday morning.
• Also this Friday students will be having an assembly.  At the assembly we will be addressing and celebrating our recently earned LightHouse status through Leader In Me.  We are asking for students to bring to school a small flashlight for an activity we will do at the assembly.
