Detroit Zoo

We are still planning to head to the Zoo on Monday, April 25th rain or shine.  Please be sure to dress for the weather.  Right now the weather looks like rain.  Perhaps rain boots and a rain coat with a hood would be best.

Students need to pack a disposable lunch with no glass containers.  Please label the lunch with your student’s name.

Muffins for Mom – Save the Date

Lindbergh Kindergarten and Young 5’s will celebrate “Muffins for Mom” (a mother’s day program) on Friday, May 6th from 9:00 a.m. until about 10:30.

Invitations will be coming home soon.

What We Did This Week

Our new sight word this week was, “am”

We worked in our poem books

We wrote in our journals

We rotated through Daily 5

We finished our 3-dimensional shape books in math

We took turns presenting our Science Boards to each other (THEY WERE GREAT!!!)

We have begun our last round of NWEA testing (on the computers)
