Leader In Me T-Shirts

We plan on wearing these t-shirts for our leadership day in June.  T-Shirts are 12.00.  Please let me know if you need another order form.  Orders are due February 18th.

Valentine’s Day Party – Next Thursday Morning (the 11th)

We are asking for a 5.00 donation (extra monies will be put toward an ice cream party on the last day of school)

Valentine Cards

Students may hand out Valentine Treats/Cards at our Valentine Party next Thursday morning.  Please only have your child write their name on the “from” line.  You do not need to address the cards.  This makes handing out cards easier.  We have 12 students in class.

What We Did This Week

We worked in our new journals

We worked in our poem books

We rotated through Daily 5

In Math we counted by 5’s and writing the numbers 1-20 on our whiteboards.

In Handwriting we worked with the letter T and I (Straight Line Letters)

We continue to work on our last name

We attended a PBIS reward assembly – where we made “Valentines for Vets” and enjoyed hot cocoa

We rotated through our Leader in Me mixed aged groups and talked about Habit 2 (Beginning with the End in Mind)

We attended our monthly behavior and award assembly

We visited the Bookfair

We started our “Monster” crafts
