Dates to keep in mind:

• Late Start, 5-16-18
• No School, 5-25-18 and 5-28-18 (Memorial Day Weekend)
• Save the date if interested in chaperoning our field trip to the Detroit Zoo on 6-6-18
• Lindbergh Fun Fair, the evening of 6-8-18
• Dads:  save the date for our “Donuts for Dad” celebration, 6-8-18, 9-10:00 a.m.
• Last day of school. 6-14-18, 1/2 day, dismissal at 11:45 a.m.

Next Week:

Scholastice Book Fair – end of the year sale!  Students will bring home a “wish list”

School planting with flowers provided by the PTA (if you have gardening gloves or a small planting shovel you may send them to school with your student on Tuesday).

Lindbergh Clean Up Parade will be Thursday at 1:30.  If your student has a Lindbergh shirt please wear it.  If you would like to watch the parade we will be marching through the neighborhood beginning on N. Waverly at 1:30 p.m.

What We Did This Week

We introduced the sight word: on

In math we continue to have “number talks” using our ten frames and we continue to practice writing numerals 1-20.  We finished measuring our bodies – tracings came home Thursday.

We rotated through our Daily 5 Literacy Centers.
