Spelling Test Wednesday

Phonics:  review of long and short vowel sounds , CVC words

Reading: Students are being assessed for an end of the year reading level (DRA) and end of the year literacy tasks.

I collected reading books from student book bags for end of the year filing.  In class during Daily 5 students will be reading from my leveled library.  At home students can continue using Razz Kids and practicing sight words.

NWEA ELA assessment will take place Thursday.

Writing: Narrative stories (2-3 sentences, finger space, punctuation and appropriate uses of capital letters.

Math:  Lessons 20-23 (we are skipping lessons 15-19).

Science:  Living vs. Non-living and what Plants Need to Live –  we’ve planted Lima beans and radish seeds

Social Studies:  National symbols, rules and laws
