Field Trip

Please remember that permission slips and payments are due for our October 18th trip to the apple orchard.

Library Books

Please help your student remember to return their library book back to school on Monday.

Lunch Money

If you would like to put some money on your child’s lunch account and not have them handle the money themselves you can send in cash or check (made out to Dearborn Public Schools)  and we will get the credit applied to their lunch card.

Half Day of School

Friday, October 13th there is a half day of school.  Dismissal is at 11:45 a.m.

What We Did This Week

We introduced our Alpha Friend, Dudely Duck, letter D

We colored the letter D, colored letter D pictures, and worked with letter D in our poem books.

We wrote in our journals

We began reading Pete the Cat stories

We started work with our “Handwriting Without Tears” program (ask your student about MatMan).

In Science we are discussing the season of Fall.  We continue to collect “evidence of Fall” while we are outside.

We are counting to 100 using songs and our math grid

We introduced our numeral song and practiced writing numbers on our whiteboards

We visted our special classes, Gym, Art, Music and Media

We enjoyed playing on the playground

We enjoyed Free Choice Time

We continue to review rules, routines, and procedures

Students who were on green 3 days last week attended the cookie party
