What We Did This Week

Our alpha-friend this week was Andy Apple, Letter A

We worked in our poem books

We wrote in our journals – using our alphabet charts

We read “FROGGY” books by Jonathan London

In math we worked on identifying shapes (ask your student about a rhombus)

We enjoyed Free Choice

We worked hard creating Valentine Cards for Veterans (these will be delivered to the veteran’s hospital)

We attended our school wide monthly assembly

We finally enjoyed the snow and some outdoor recess

VALENTINE’S DAY CARDS

Yes, we will be exchanging cards in class.

It can be complicated at this age to address the cards with names so please just have your child sign their cards with their name on the “FROM” line.

We have 13 students in class

We have 5 girls and 8 boys

There will be a sign up for our Valentine’s Day party and for our 100 Days of School celebration soon.
