Reading Logs

January reading logs were sent home Monday.  You can turn those in at the end of the month for a free personal pizza from Pizza Hut.

What We Did This Week

We spent time getting back into school routine and re-teaching classroom and school-wide rules

Our Alpha-Friend was Zelda Zebra, Letter Z

We wrote in our journals

We worked in our poem books

We completed our Letter Z worksheet

We worked in our handwriting books

We rotated through Daily 5

We are still working with our “teens” in Math

We rotated to mixed groups for our Leader In Me Lesson, (The Little Engine That Could)

We attended an assembly for our Positive Behavior

We completed our MATH NWEA testing in the computer lab

I am currently assessing students in their letter identification, sound identification and certain math skills for the end of the marking period.
