October PBIS (Positive Behavior System)

If your child is making the reward party for the month on October they will be watching the DHS Marching Band perform here at Lindbergh, Monday afternoon.

November 6^th – Half Day of School (end of the marking period), dismissal at 11:45 a.m.

November 25^th and 26^th – Thanksgiving Break

November 12^th, 18^th and 19^th – Parent Teacher Conferences

What We Did This Week

Our Alpha Friend was Hattie Horse, Letter Hh

We rotated through Daily 5 completing Read to Self, Work on Writing and Word Work activities

We wrote in our journals during Writer’s Workshop

We sorted coins in math.  We also are working on number formation in our number books.

We practiced our tripod grip in our handwriting books

We visited art, gym, music, and media

We enjoyed free choice

We painted pumpkins
