The coupon books or orders for the SaveAround fundraiser were due today.  Please return sample books that did not sell so that the school isn’t charged.

Classroom Halloween Party

Our class party will be the morning of October 30th.  Students can wear their costume to school (please no heavy make-up or toy weapons).  There will be a costume parade beginning at 9:00.  After that we will enjoy some games, crafts and food.  Parents are welcome.  Please click on the link below to volunteer for party supplies:

What We Did This Week 

Our Alpha Friend was Bennie Bear:  letter B

We worked in our poem books

We completed our phonics worksheet

We read a Scholastic News about Fall

We made patterns with the chains and construction paper

We are learning to sort and sorted by color

We practiced our scissor skills

We reached our goal of reading for 10 minutes during read to self!!!!!  Next week we will rotate through Daily 5 (Read to self, work on writing, listen to reading, read to someone and word work).

We enjoyed our trip to the Apple Orchard

We continue to work on our play skills and social skills during Free Choice

We visited Art, Gym, Music, and Media classes
