This week is a short week for students. Thursday is the last day of school.
We will be having our spelling test on Thursday.
We will also be having Spirit Day “Read a shirt day”
1st graders will be doing an egg hunt in the morning.
Have a nice break and don’t forget to read with your child.

Report cards will be going out this week so please make sure to check your child’s folder. Please sign and return the envelope and keep the copy of the report card.
We will also be having our 1st grade Music concert this Friday the 23rd.@2:30 in the Main Cafeteria.

Since we did not have school on Friday, we will be taking both our Spelling and Unit 5 Math Assessment today.
We will also be visiting the Book Fair today for those who brought money to purchase a book. If your child would like to buy a book the book fair will be going on this week only.
Don’t forget that we will be having Literacy Night on Tuesday March 6th. 5-6:30

We will be having a Math Test this Friday, March 2nd. Study guide will be sent home on Wednesday for students to use to study.
Spirit Friday is Blue and White Go Broncos!!
We will be going to the Book Fair next Monday, March 5th if you would like to send money for your child to purchase a book from the fair.

Happy Snow Day everyone!
Hope you are all enjoying your day off and staying warm.
Next week we will be taking the WIDA test that is required by the district. Please make sure that your child is at school on time and has had a good nights sleep and breakfast. We will be taking the test Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
We will also be celebrating our 100th day of school and Valentine’s Day on Wednesday February 14th. We sent out a note last week about both celebrations and also attached the note to Class Dojo. If you have any questions please feel free to email or call.

Hello,
We have been very busy since we have been back to school. We are working on Opinion Writing and also worked on some Narrative writing this month. In Math we are working on telling time to the half hour, working on coins( dimes, nickels, pennies) and place value.

This will be our last week of school before winter break so please be on the lookout for any important notes coming home.
The students brought home a gingerbread man disguise project/writing activity that is due back to school this Wednesday December 20th.
The holiday sale is still taking place this week so you can still send in money for your child to buy something if you choose.
On Friday it will be pajama day!
Just a reminder to please send in a change of shoes for your child if they are wearing boots to school. It is important that students wear boots to school because they will be going outside for lunch recess as long as the temperature is warm enough.
