Rock Painting!

Rock Painting!

Next week, our class will be participating in a school-wide rock painting activity to celebrate a successful first month of school! Please have your child bring a small rock to school by Friday, October 6th to paint during the celebration next week. The painted rock collections will be displayed throughout the front of our school or in the garden area. Thanks in advance for your help on such short notice!

Happy Monday!

We have posted what we are working on in Math and Spelling on our blog. Please make sure to check the tab for both to read what we are working on.

We have started sending home reading bags with students. Please be sure to have students read the books to you every night. We need your help in reinforcing reading concepts we are teaching in class.

Please make sure to check your child’s folder daily. We are sending homework and/or important notes that go home and need to be returned.

We are also in need of some more supplies for your classroom. If you would like to donate any hand soap, hand sanitizer, tissues or gallon size size zip lock bags we would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Mrs. Baydoun/Mrs. Locke

Have a great week!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday!

Parents,

As the weather begins to change please make sure to have children wear clothes that are appropriate for the weather. Dr. Moughni does not want students wearing shorts to school yet. The weather has been unpredictable with the temperature starting cold and warming up in the afternoon. I suggest having children wear a t-shirt and layer a sweater in the morning so if it warms up they can take off their sweater. Also, it is still pretty chilly in the mornings and we are lining up outside so please make sure that your child is wearing a light jacket in the morning.

Please make sure to send a small snack to school with your child each day. We don’t always have snack available from the school and our lunch time is at 1:05. Please do not send any cookies, or any sweet snacks to school.

Thank you,
Mrs. Baydoun/Mrs. Locke
