Why Complete the Census?

Dear Parents,

Every year, billions of dollars in federal funding go to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources based on census data.

This is especially critical now as our district faces a budget shortfall and teacher layoffs at a time when we should be reducing class sizes for health and safety during the pandemic. For a better future of our city, schools, and students, please click on the link now and fill out the census. It only takes a few minutes from your time to make a difference.

Complete the Census application here:

Sincerely,
Ms. Roe

  • Report cards will be mailed to the addresses on file with the school.
  • Please take a few minutes to complete the School Reopening Survey. Parent responses in conjunction with CDC guidelines and State guidelines will shape how our district plans to reopen schools.

School Lunches Available Through Summer Break

Dearborn will extend FREE school lunches through the summer vacation. Pick up will change to distributing seven breakfasts and seven lunches once a week on WEDNESDAYS from 10 a.m. to noon. An adult may pick up food for any child that lives in the home, they do not need to attend that school. Free Student Meals In Summer

Keep Chromebooks for Summer Learning!

Students may keep the chromebooks they checked out to continue summer learning. I will be creating a document of suggestions for activities to keep your child learning over the summer.

We still have a long time before next school year! Don’t let your child loose learning over the summer break!
