I highly recommend hearing and vision screenings for every child, especially in the lower grades. I struggled with school until a vision screener recommended I see an optometrist when I was in first grade. Learning to read is difficult when you have hearing or vision troubles!
Required PE Forms for Parents
This year Parents will need to sign a (virtual) waiver in order for their child to participate in Physical Education (gym) class online. This form is required because the teacher would not be able to physically intervene in a virtual class. Please complete the form below and continue scrolling to the next form.
Our PE teacher is also asking that parents complete another survey to let her know how much space children will have for physical activities at home. She will use parent responses to plan her lessons. Please complete the form below.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION!
The blog is under construction while I make the switch to the Virtual Learning Program (VLP).
I am beginning to post updates for my 2020-2021 1st Grade VLP Class. If you are still subscribed from the 2019-2020 year, you are welcome to unsubscribe to avoid a lot of unwanted emails.
VLP parents, I have set the blog to send one email per day at 6 p.m. with all the updates for the day, unless there is urgent news. I will add new posts as I update the blog with information for the 2020-2021 school year.
