Dear Parents:  

River Oaks is currently registering students for the 2020-2021 school year for pre-school, kindergarten and young 5’s.  We need your help and getting this information out to all parents.  Please let us know the names of anyone that will be starting school this year at River Oaks.  

Increase your vocabulary! Listen to the read aloud and fill out the graphic organizer you can just use a piece of paper and create the headings yourself. Try to use the word when speaking or writing at least three times today.

It is fun to predict what a text is going to be about before we read it! When we predict we take the information we already know and combine it with the text. Make a prediction using the sentence frame:

I think the story will be about____________because______________.

Now, look at the title: The Case of The Missing Carrot Cake and predict what it’s going to be about. Remember the word case means file.

We will be passing out learning materials for all students to help them with their at home learning for the remainder of the year.

Students will receive their math workbooks, common core books for ELA, and some school supplies.

Learning material pick up will be a drive up service, similar to our Chromebook pickup.

Please stay in your car and someone will come out to assist you.

Learning material pickup will be Tuesday, May 5th from 12:00 pm-3:00 pm and Wednesday, May 6th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.
