Lesson 5-Solve Problems with Percent

Today (Thursday) we are starting a new Lesson. I will pass back the quizzes from Lesson 4 today. If you scored a 0,1 or 2 on the quiz, you can do “REFLECTIONS AND CORRECTIONS”.

You MUST print the page on the top of the blog and follow ALL directions in order to earn 1/2 of the points back. The “REFLECTIONS AND CORRECTIONS” are due on Friday.

We will continue through this Lesson through next week.

Halloween

Any costumes must be consistent with the dress code policy and MAY NOT interfere with the learning process or the teaching in the classroom.
The following rules must be followed if a student chooses to wear a costume:

  • No Props or Weapons of ANY KIND
  • No Masks
  • No Make-up
  • No Hats or Wigs
  • No Costumes that are revealing
  • Skirts and shorts must meet the fingertip length rule
  • Nothing offensive
  • Nothing distracting
  • No fake (or real) blood

Any violators will be asked to change or be sent home.
In Middle School, classes do not celebrate Halloween, students should not bring bags of candy to school to distribute or any other treats. This causes a disruption to learning in the classroom, in the hallways at lockers, and during lunch.
Thank you!-

A note about Practice and Problem Solving packets…

Students- You are expected to complete them. In the grade book I will indicate if the assignment is “complete”, but not graded. This is your practice for what we covered in class and a study guide for the quizzes. If you receive a 0,1 or 2 on the quiz, you will be allowed to do quiz corrections if, and only if you completed the practice and problem solving pages.

The link for “Math Test Reflections and Corrections” is at the top of the blog. It is your responsibly to print it out and follow all directions in order to receive half of the points back on your quiz. All steps MUST be complete.
