Unit Rates

Today, we discussed more Unit Rate and will be learning Cornell note taking on Wednesday.

We also learned a new game called “Muggins” working on mental math and reinforcing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ask your child about it  🙂

Thursday, I will assign the packet of practice work on unit rate and some IXL learning (Students can work on this on Thursday and Friday in class).  These will be due on Monday 10/1 and quiz on Tuesday, 10/2.

Unit Rates

We are starting the section on Unit Rates. Attached is the family letter that outlines what the unit entails. The quiz on Ratios was yesterday and the majority of students did VERY well 🙂

Those who want to retake the quiz need to make arrangements with me to either take it before school or at lunch time. (All assignments must be complete and turned in for a retake to be scheduled.
