We are at the end of unit one. We will do some review in class and students will have some pages from the practice and problem solving book sometime this week. We will have the Unit test on Monday or Tuesday next week.
No School next week on Wednesday 11/21, Thursday 11/22 or Friday 11/23.
Reminder:
We have a quiz on lesson 5 on Monday. Use the packet and practice IXL to study for it.
Wednesday and Thursday students will have time in class to complete IXL and Practice and Problem solving pages for Lesson 5, these will be due on Friday. Quiz on Monday.

Friday we will have a “create a trail mix” activity that students will work on in class and will be due on Monday.
We are working with Solving Problems with Percents. We have talked about, modeled and discussed different situations. So, far we have completed Lesson 5 through pages 43 in the Instruction book. We should wrap this section up early next week and have a quiz later in the week.

We are finishing up unit Rate. We started the Practice and Problem solving pages today and IXL. Students will have today and tomorrow to work on this in class.
It will be due on Monday. We will go over the Practice and Problem solving pages and record scores from IXL.
We are working on Solving Problems with Unit Rate this week.
Watch for some practice and problem solving work pages and IXL assignments later this week.
However, I will extend the due date for IXL until Friday beginning of class.

We started on Equivalent Ratios today.
We will be talking looking at them all week, watch for some classwork/homework this week. REMEMBER: Whatever you don’t finish in class, IS homework and due the next day.
