I hope you are all enjoying this 60 degree Sunday! Take some time out today to go for a walk and get some vitamin D! Here is our weekly news:
We will be implementing the “Continuity Remote Learning Plan” from the district beginning tomorrow. I believe much will not change. I am adding more Google Meets to the week, to instruct and guide students in live lessons. A grading and attendance policy will be implemented as well. Dr. Maleyko shared this on Friday. Here is the link to his post with all the details for K-12. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PXb_0LYdHkfPbQt6y0aju-7itbTrDFPt_yYH2TyQY20/edit?usp=sharing
Along with implementing the Remote Learning Plan, I have updated the week at a glance to reflect some of those changes. You will notice that hopefully it looks a little more organized and there are two new sections on our sheet. The changes are listed below:
- You will notice there is a Google Meet category. Every week we will have two live lessons with Ms. Robey. They typically will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The link will be provided within Google Classroom 5 minutes before lesson is expected to begin.
- I’ve also included office hours. My office hours time is set up there to communicate with students and parents. If you are having issues with an assignment, technology, or something else regarding our classroom we can schedule a time within office hours that I can contact you. Feel free to use this time if you need to.

A suggestion would be to print this and put it in a place visible for everyone!
Lastly, I will be having a Google Meet session for parents on Wednesday, April 22nd at 4:00pm. This session will help us reflect upon the new District Remote Learning Plan and to provide feedback. I will make sure to post the link to this meeting on Wednesday. If for some reason you cannot attend, please let me know.
Thank you for everything that you do parents. I will give every parent a virtual boarding pass! It is an extremely stressful time and you are always doing your best. I know we couldn’t do it without you! Keep up the great work!
