Happy Sunday Everyone!

As we embark on this uncharted territory, I appreciate each of you for your patience during this very daunting time. I hope to keep things as normal as possible and to not add any unnecessary stress during these next couple weeks!

A couple ways to reach me:

My office hours will be M-F from 8:15-3:45 p.m. Please note I will do my best to answer you and/or your child in a timely manner. These office hours will be used for the students to ask questions or if they just want to talk to Ms. Robey/Thomas (my dog). If you are having technology issues, feel free to ask away.

Ways to reach me: Remind, email: robeym@dearbornschools.org, comment on the blog, and Google Classroom-(students can comment on there).

In case you missed our earlier post, here is our Remote Learning Plan with the expectations during this month.

Below is what the students are expected to do this upcoming week!

ELA-Later this evening, I will be posting our weekly reading log to my blog, I will also create an electronic one for those families who can not print. Reading assignments and the weekly writing prompt will be assigned through our Google Classroom. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I will be posting reading mini-lessons. Make sure to keep a close eye on Monday with more details on these assignments.

Math– On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I will post a new math lesson, with a video. Students are expected to watch the math video then complete the assigned math problems. Along with the math lessons three times a week, please continue to have your child complete 4 lessons of Zearn. I will post more information on how you can track progress at home for your child.

Science-Wednesday, I will post a mystery science lesson the students can watch and complete. This assignment will be in their Google classroom.

I will post more detailed lessons tomorrow morning by 8:30 a.m.

I wish all of you good health, safety and love! Have a great rest of this beautiful day!
