Happy Rainy Wednesday! Today your child has practiced using arrays to model the distributive property. This was used to find related multiplication facts by breaking them down into small groups. We then were able to solve these facts by adding and subtracting equal groups (rows) from the arrays.

Tonight’s homework will be Module 1 Lesson 9, from page 35-37 in their Succeed book.

This was a pretty challenging subject for students to understand. We broke this down in smaller groups with students and we will be doing another day on this concept tomorrow. Please watch the video below to help your child with their homework.
