Good Evening Parents,
I cannot believe that we are on our last two weeks of school. Oh, has the time flown by! I first want to begin our weekly update by saying Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones on this special holiday break if you are celebrating. If you are not celebrating Eid, I hope you are having a restful couple of days off.
Since we are coming up on our end of the year, you will be seeing a variety of updates from me. Please make sure to keep a close eye on the blog for daily updates.
The first thing that I want to bring up is that we are in need of some toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls for an upcoming engineering project the last week of school. If you have some of these items at home, please feel free to send them in.
We are also celebrating achieving Lighthouse Status on Thursday at our school-wide assembly. In order to celebrate, the entire school will be bringing in flashlights to turn Lindbergh into a real lighthouse! After that, students will be treated to Popsicles and extra recess. If you have a flashlight, please send it in with your child on Thursday for our Lighthouse celebration.
Please don’t forget that our social studies test will be on this Friday. If for some reason your child plans on being absent that day, please let me know ASAP so that I can accommodate your child’s needs.
