Due to the chilly weather heading our direction, as a third grade team we have decided to postpone our field trip on January 31st. Our Lansing trip will now be on Thursday, February 21st.   Hopefully by then it will be a lot warmer than -40!

Today we also passed out our Lansing Field Trip shirts. Make sure to touch base with your child about your shirts!

Last Friday, we also had selected chaperones for our Lansing Field trip via lottery system. Due to the amount of individuals allowed on the tour at the capitol building, we can only have 8 chaperones attend this trip. Every chaperone slip was placed inside a classroom bucket, and as a class we pulled 8 names at random. The chaperones we have pulled are listed below. We have also selected several backup chaperones in case something happens. If your name was not selected for this trip, on future trips you will be placed on the top of the list as a potential chaperone. In addition, if you can no longer make the new field trip date of February 21st, please let me know ASAP so that I can let another chaperone know. Thank you for being so understanding and being supportive of our class.
