Can you believe that it is already October? The rain and cold are on their way! Please make sure to remember to send your child in with appropriate clothes on the days when the weather is a tad colder.
This week we will be continuing our units of study. Listed below are topics that we will be exploring this week, as well as several reminders.
Reading: Characters, character traits, and how illustrations help us understand characters and mood.
Writing: Beginning to brainstorm potential Narrative Writing Topics
Social Studies: Location (relative and absolute), the bodies of Water in Michigan, and the other landforms in Michigan
Science: How push/pull helps achieve greater force and engineering a bridge keeping elements of force in mind.
Math: Modeling division as the unknown factor of multiplication using arrays and tape diagrams, interpreting the quotient of division problems using units of 2-3.
Leader in Me: Declaration of Leadership at Lindbergh. How can I be the best leader this school year?
