It was such a pleasure to finally meet so many lovely students. I can tell that Third Grade in room 208 is going to be a wonderful place. As this week progresses, you may begin to notice that there will be quite a few notes going home. Make sure to check your child’s homework folder that went home today.

In addition, tomorrow I will be sending out our third grade flip-book and teacher letter. This flip-book will be your guide to procedures and expectations in third grade. The third grade team has placed magnets on the back of the flip-book so you may hang on your refrigerator!

All this week we are working on establishing classroom and school expectations and routines. We are also working with to be future leaders by following the Leader in Me First 4 Day program. We will be working on the first four habits this week: Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First Things First, and Think Win-Win. Tomorrow we will also be putting our first day supplies away for students.
