Beginning today the Practice sheets will be assignments that must be turned in with all work shown if you expect to receive credit. They will have a value of 5pts each, just like homework. They will be due by noon two days after they are assigned which means that you will have over 48 hours to complete each assignment. Answers will be posted on this blog shortly after the noon due time. If the assignment is turned in after the due time will be considered late. Each Sunday I’ll post worked out solutions to each Practice from the previous week (except any Practice sheet from Friday, solutions will be posted on Monday). Practice sheets will not be accepted after worked out solutions have been posted.
Beginning this week I’ll host a Zoom to answer questions over video lessons and Practice sheets. This will be each Wednesday at 11:00am.

REMINDER: The Chapter 8 Test must be completed and turned in today by 6:00pm.
Tuesday, April 14, 2020
The Chapter 8 Test is now available on the Geometry Google Classroom. The testing window closes at 6:00pm Wednesday, April 15.
Remember you are to take this test without assistance from any other person, textbook, notes, or the internet. You can use a calculator that you may have or the online calculator that I’ve posted a link to on this blog.
Just give your best effort, that’s all I ever ask for.
Monday, April 13, 2020
No new lesson today. Remember tomorrow is the Chapter 8 Test. You can access the test via the Geo Google Classroom. I will make the test accessible when I get up in the morning which should be no later than 7:00 am.
I posted a practice test on this blog Saturday, April 11, 2020. Refer to this practice test to see exactly what you will be expected to show me on tomorrow’s test.
I will be available for help today. I will check my email frequently and will respond as quickly as I can. I will be busy with a meeting from about 12:45 to 2:30 away from my computer so if you send me a question I can get it on my phone but may not be able to respond to it until I get back home.
Practice Test
The two links below contain the Chapter 8 Practice Test with answers and some directions and practice on using the online calculator. I will be available for questions regarding the test most of Sunday and Monday. Just send me an email. I will check my email periodically throughout each day and try to respond as quickly as possible.
One of you hasn’t turned in the Assessment Affidavit assignment that was due yesterday.
Remember, the test is Tuesday and will be accessible through the Geometry Google Classroom beginning in the morning.
Friday, April 10, 2020: Information about the Chapter 8 Test.
One of the 11 Geometry students has yet to join the Geometry Google Classroom. Four of you still need to complete the Assessment Affivdavit and return it by the end of the day today.
The Chapter 8 test will be given on Tuesday, April 14. I will put the test on the Geometry Google Classroom in the morning and it must be completed by 9:00pm. I will post a practice test, with answers, on Saturday, April 11 on this blog. I will be available to answer questions on Monday, April 13.
Remember you will be doing the work on separate paper. Write neatly, number each problem and circle your answer, box in all the work for each problem separately.
If you don’t have a calculator that does everything you need it to do, powers, roots, trig, and inverse trig, etc., I’ve posted a link to an online calculator that you can use on my blog under the heading “Helpful Math Links”. Along with practice test I’ll give you some examples of answers using a calculator to make sure you are using them correctly.
Correction #3……
I think I need to hire an editor to check my work. Anybody interested in a job?
If you got to #17 on the Review you probably then noticed that there are two 17’s. But what about the answer to the second #17? Here’s the scoop.
Question #17 goes with Answer #17
Second Question #17 goes with Answer #18
Question #18 has no answer: The answers are: x=24 sq rt 3 and y=12 sq rt 3
I checked all the answers from #19 to #29 and they are ok.
