Bellwork had students practice writing a proof involving angle bisector and finding missing angles in a figure using knowledge of vertical angles, angles in a triangle, supplementary angles, and angles in parallel lines.

Students were given the answers to the review for Thursday’s Chapter 2 test.

The remainder of the period we continued our discussion on angles in parallel lines (sec 3-1).

Bellwork reviewed finding missing angles in a figure using Vertical Angles, Supplementary Angles, Angle sum of a triangle, and Isosceles Triangles.  They also revisited the Congruent Complements Theorem.

The remainder of the period we continued with Sec 3-1.

Review for Chapter 2 Test we provided.  The test will be next Thursday.

Bellwork reviewed some vocabulary from Chapter 1 and using properties of angles to find missing angles in a figure.

The remainder of the period students practiced giving steps and reasons for steps to complete a geometric proof.

Hwk #9 is due today.

The Chapter 2 test will be next week because several students still need to take the last quiz before I can return them to the students to use for test review.
