Bellwork had students explore the rates of change for Linear, Quadratic, Cubic, and Exponential Functions.

After the bellwork we continued to explore the relationships between Arithmetic & Geometric Sequences with Linear & Exponential Functions.  Students explored how sequences of the perimeters of shapes can lead to Arithmetic and Geometric sequences which can help predict future perimeters by finding patterns and not having to actually draw the figures to find their perimeters.  We also continued to go over Student Activity Sheet (SAS) 1 as well as use the Agile Mind Website throughout our discussion.  Students were told how they could access the Agile Mind Website:

Web Address:  https://dearborn.agilemind.com

Username and Password are both the students Dearborn Schools ID number.

Hwk #3 is due tomorrow.  Questions 9 and 10 from Student Activities Sheet 1.
