1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork reviewed graphing a system of inequalities and finding the vertices of the solution region then using these vertices to maximize a quantity.

Hwk #13 is due today.

The remainder of the period we discussed Sec 3-4, Linear Programming.

Hwk #14 is due tomorrow.         Sec 3-4

Page 142.    Problems 2, 3, 5, 6, 11, 20

Student will need graph paper to complete this assignment.

4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork reviewed finding Doman and Range of a graph and writing the equation of a line in both Point-Slope and Slope-Intercept Forms.

The remainder of the period we continued our discussion on Sec 2-2, focusing on Horizontal & Vertical Lines, and being able to graph a line whose equation is given in any form

Hwk #10 is now due on Wednesday (we need to spend another day finishing Sec 2-2).

Page 68.  Problems 28, 29, 33, 36-41, 60 (Do NOT graph lines for problems 38-41)
