Bellwork gave students practice on PSAT style math questions.
Hwk #27 is due today.
Students received the review for the Chapter 6 Test. Date of the test is still to be determined.
The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Solving Polynomials. Students were given examples of how to solve a polynomial equation by taking these steps:
- Graph to find all EXACT real zeros.
- Use division to turn the original polynomial into a polynomial that can be solved, most of the time it will become a Quadratic.
- Find the remaining zeros. If the result of division leads to a Quadratic then Factoring, Square Roots, Completing the Square, and Quadratic Formula can be used.
Hwk #28 is due on Monday, November 12, 2018
Work MUST be shown to receive credit.
