Hrs 1-3:

Bellwork reviewed graphs of the reciprocal trig functions.

Hwk #23 is due today.

The remainder of the period we began our discussion on Sec 14-1, Trigonometric Identities.  Students were introduced to the Pythagorean Identities and simplifying trigonometric expressions.

Hwk #24 is due tomorrow.  Sec 14-1

Page 780.  Problems 18, 20-23, 28, 30, 32-34

Students must show work to receive credit.

5th Hr:

Bellwork reviewed using a right triangle to evaluate the six trig functions, and graphing and labeling Sin, Cos, and Tan graphs.

Hwk #22 is due today.

The remainder of the period we continued discussing graphs of Csc, Sec, and Cot (Sec 13-8).  Hwk #23 was made available to the students and will be due on Wednesday.
