1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice simplifying Trigonometric Expressions (Sec 14-1).

The remainder of the period we discussed tools available when simplifying trigonometric expressions, adding two other Pythagorean Identities to the list.  The students practiced simplifying more trigonometric expressions.  We also began discussing the idea of verifying trigonometric identities.

Hwk #37 will be due on Monday.  Sec 14-1

4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice simplifying Complex Rational Expressions (Sec 9-5).

The remainder of the period we finished our discussion on Sec 9-5.  We then began our discussion on Sec 9-6, Solving Rational Equations.

Hwk #42 is due tomorrow.   Sec 9-5
