1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice on a real-world problem that is solved with a quadratic equation.

The remainder of the period we began discussing Sec 2-3, Direct Variation.

Hwk #1 was assigned and will be due on Thursday, Feb 2.

4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice graphing parabolas and finding the Vertex, Line of Symmetry, x&y-intercepts, Domain and Range, and End-Behavior.

The remainder of the period we began discussing Sec 5-1, discussing characteristics of Quadratic Functions.

Hwk #1 is due tomorrow.
