1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork reviewed Synthetic Division and the Remainder Theorem.

Hwk #31 is due today.

The remainder of the period we finished discussing Synthetic Division from sec 6-3 and began discussing Sec 6-8, The Binomial Theorem using Pascal’s Triangle.

Hwk #32 is due tomorrow.  Sec 6-3

4th Hour:

Bellwork reviewed solving matrix equations.

The remainder of the period we continued discussing solving matrix equations using Inverse Matrices.  We also began discussing how a system of linear equations can be solve using matrices.

5th Hour:

Bellwork reviewed using matrices on the graphing calculator to multiply matrices, if possible, determine if two matrices are inverses, and to find  the inverse of a matrix, if it exists.

The remainder of the period we discussed solving matrix equations using inverse matrices.  We also began our discussion on how a system of linear equations can be solved using matrices.
