1st, 2nd, 3rd Hours:

Bellwork reviewed graphing parabolas using LOS, Vertex, and a table of values.

The remainder of the period we discussed another technique used to graph parabolas and how to find the Max/Min of a situation that is modeled by a quadratic function.

Hwk #16 was given to the students.  This hwk will be due on Tuesday, November 1.

4th & 5th Hours:

Bellwork gave students practice making a scatter plot, drawing a trendline, writing an equation of the trendline, and finding missing values using each.

The remainder of the period we began discussing how to use technology to make a scatter plot and find the equation of the trendline (called Linear Regression).

Hwk #13 was given to the students.  This hwk will be due on Tuesday, November 1.
