Bellwork reviewed evaluating variable expressions involving negative numbers.

Hwk #1 is due today.

Students were given the Algebra 1 textbook and the class syllabus. A few of the items on the syllabus were highlighted such as the importance of homework and the online resources available through the school district and the book’s publisher.

We then began exploring operations involving negative numbers and their rules and properties (Sec 1-4 and 1-5).

Hwk #2 was assigned: Page 29 problems 63-67 AND Page 41 problems 25-29
