Bellwork reviewed simpliying expressions using the rules of exponents.

Students then took a quiz over sections 8-1, 8-3 to 8-5.

After the quiz students were to work on an exploration using the graphing calculator to find the effects on the graph of y=a(b)^x when the values of a (the coefficient) and b(the base) are changed.
