There are 3 Simple Steps to Multiply Fractions:

1. Multiply the top numbers (the numerators).

2. Multiply the bottom numbers (the denominators).

3. Simplify the fraction if needed.

There are 3 Simple Steps to Divide Fractions:

1. Turn the second fraction (the one you want to divide by) upside down

(This is now a reciprocal).

2. Multiply the first fraction by that reciprocal

3. Simplify the fraction (if needed)

Red Wings for Reading:

·        Red Wings for Reading encourages Kindergarten through 5^th Grade students to read at least three (3) books recommended for their grade level.
·        Once completed, students can submit an online entry form with the help of an adult atwww.DetroitRedWings.com/Reading by January 31st, 2017.
·        Students are entered into a drawing to win a pair of Detroit Red Wings tickets to the March 12^th, 2017 game
·        All students will receive a Red Wings for Reading Fan Pack.
·        Grand Prize: One (1) Michigan elementary school with the high participation rate through January 31^st, 2017 will win a $2,500 library upgrade and an opportunity for the Detroit Red Wings Alternate Captain, Justin Abdelkader to read to a classroom of students!
