3.READING GROUP BAG—> , re-read old books for fluency AND read NEW book 3 times remembering to point to each word as you read AND extend to asking questions such as: “Find a sight word on this page. Point to word that starts with the /s/ sound. ETC.”  Please keep alphabet linking chart and on back NEW consonants blends and digraphs in their bag– this is to help with reading and writing during reading groups and can be practiced at home as part of 15 minutes of reading each night!

4. Math Homework Workbook– Module 5, lesson 1— homework help on page 169 and DO HOMEWORK PAGE 171.

5. Spelling Notebook

  • Wednesday: Building Words!
    • Write each spelling word one letter at a time, for example:

HEALTHY SNACKS NEEDED!!!

The blue coolers and school provided snacks has ended so we REALLY need some good HEALTHY SNACKS EACH DAY!!! If you can donate for the class (18) fruits or vegetables… (like apples, bananas, carrots (a couple bags is great!), sliced cucumbers, grapes, etc.) It would be wonderful.  Also if a parent can bring in a HEALTHY EASY SNACK like bananas or apples for MONDAY MORNING so everyone can have a good healthy snack before NWEA MATH, please let me know. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thursday: Fun Sentences!
    • Write a sentence using one spelling word in each sentence. Make sure to include Capitals, spaces and punctuation!
